We held various community fundraisers to get our name out there and begin raising funds for our cause.
Speaking at CUSD Board Meetings
Various dates from June 2022 – Present. We showed up multiple times to the chandler unified school district board meetings to share our stories as well as present our recommended changes and collaborations with the district.
Presenting to AZ State Legislature –
September 2022. We presented to the Senate Teen Mental Health Ad Hoc Committee about our work and our experiences within Arizona schools to encourage their decisions on policy change.
Chandler Mental Health Wellness Walk
October 28 2022 & 23 In collaboration with Councilman OD Harris and the Ready Set Go foundation, we were able to speak to the community and speak on the importance of sharing your stories. This is an annual walk that takes place in downtown Chandler and increases community advocacy.
Suicide Prevention Day Vigil
September 10th 2023 – We were granted the opportunity to speak at Paula Mcall and the Semicolon Society’s Vigil and celebrate the changes our community pushed for over the past year.
Civic Academy
we hosted an event where we shared local stories, educated about warning signs and symptoms, and heard from local district representatives. After months of work – we were able to get the district to publicly commit to implementing changes
